The long awaited flexible 3D Printing Resin from Monocure
If you’re looking for a flexible 3D printing resin for your Wanhao D7, Anycubic Photon or other 3D printer, then this is a very cool resin to try out.
As you might expect, the thinner the part, the more flexible the part will be. It’s pretty flexible stuff, but if you want to harden it up a little, no problem, all you need to do is mix it will some of the 3D rapid resin.
Adding a little of this resin to the 3D rapid resins will in turn result in a less brittle and more durable part.
The FLEX100™ resin from Monocure expands the printing options dramatically and allows for a much greater customization.
If you are thinking of mixing this flex resin with the rapid resin, it is recommended to use scales to weigh the resins so results can be repeated.
Monocure recommend that you make 100g mix at a time to keep the ratios simple.
For example, for a firm, durable resin try 25:75 mix – 25 grams of FLEX100 to 75 grams of Rapid resin.
